No — public holidays vary by country, region, and year, making them impossible to include universally. This calculator only excludes weekends. For project management, subtract your expected public holidays from the working days result manually.

Banks define business days as weekdays excluding public holidays. A payment processed on Friday after the cut-off time, or on a weekend, will typically be processed on the next business day (usually Monday), which may be Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday.

To find a date that is N working days from a start date, count forward N weekdays. Skip any Saturdays and Sundays encountered. This calculator counts existing working days in a range; for adding working days to a date, use a dedicated business date calculator.
